UK Protection have made a contribution of £3,000 to the 7th Exmouth Scouts. A group who are committed to helping children and young adults reach their full potential.
The group who are taking 14 Scouts aged between 10-14 to Dekluis Scout camp in Belgium. The visit is to pay respects to the fallen soldiers of World War 1.
Ian Edgecumbe, Scout Leader commented ‘Thank you to UK Protection, without this generous donation the journey would not be possible. The money is going towards vital kit and travel for the 8 day educational trip.’
The young group will be visiting:
Sanctuary Wood, Hill 62, Sanctuary Wood Museum and Cemetery.
The scouts are also due to take part in the ‘Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate’ which happens every night at 8pm to pay tribute to those who fell in an act of self-sacrifice to defend their town.
From all of us here at UK Protection Ltd we would like to wish all the Scouts and their Leaders a fantastic and safe trip to Belgium.
